What is it?

Coloproctology is a surgical area of medicine that treats the functional and anatomical diseases of the large intestine (colon, rectum, and anal canal).

When to visit the coloproctologist?

Among the most frequent complaints that are consulted are rectal bleeding, pain associated with bowel movements, constipation, and abdominal pain when eating food.
