The orthopedics service is focused on treating degenerative, traumatic, post traumatic or development musculoskeletal diseases, among others.
We have subspecialties to provide comprehensive treatment for different body segments, including upper limb, spine, pelvis-acetabulum, lower limb and musculoskeletal infections.
Our team seeks to provide comprehensive treatment to patients, from acute treatment until its rehabilitation, articulating efficiently with the necessary medical and paramedical specialties for the therapeutic approach of patients suffering from musculoskeletal pathologies.
Diagnosis and treatment for
Foot and ankle surgery
The foot and ankle surgery module focuses on the treatment of degenerative diseases (ankle osteoarthritis, hindfoot, midfoot and forefoot), post-traumatic sequelae, deformities (Hallux valgus, minor finger deformities, flat feet, cavus feet), pain around the ankle and foot (Metatarsalgia, plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma), treatment and prevention of pathologies related to diabetic foot, as well as treatment for highly complex traumatic injuries around these joints, both soft and bone tissues.

Outpatient consultation services, inpatient diabetic foot treatment, ambulatory surgery, hospitalized surgery, arthroscopic and open procedures, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, joint ankle replacements in addition to hospital treatment with rehabilitation.
Knee surgery
Treatment for traumatic and non-traumatic pathologies around the knee joint, acute and chronic ligament injuries. Tendon, cartilage and bone grafts. Deformity correction. Treatment of acute and chronic meniscus injuries. Knee joint replacement.

Shoulder and elbow surgery
The shoulder and elbow surgery module is focused on the treatment of degenerative pathologies (rotator cuff disease, epicondylitis, shoulder and elbow osteoarthritis), post-traumatic and post-surgical sequelae (shoulder and elbow instabilities, joint stiffness, adhesive capsulitis), as well as in the treatment of traumatic injuries of high complexity around these joints, both soft and bone tissues.

Hand surgery
Specialty in charge of treating traumatic, inflammatory, degenerative, congenital or functional pathologies of the hand and upper limb.

Reconstructive surgery and treatment of musculoskeletal infections
Reconstruction in patients with musculoskeletal infections within the framework of an interdisciplinary team that brings together all the specialties necessary for a comprehensive treatment for these cases.

Oncological Orthopedics
Responsible to provide treatment for benign and malignant pathologies with oncological origin (Tumors), that affect the musculoskeletal system, in all age ranges.

Outpatient consultation, oncological surgery (Biopsies, resections, intralesional treatment), limb salvage, stents and megaprostheses, amputations, pathological fracture treatment; always supported by a multidisciplinary group such as Oncology, radiotherapy, Palliative Care, Pathology, Rehabilitation, oncological surgery and neurosurgery, Plastic surgery, among others.
Trauma
Treatment for all traumatic osteoarticular lesions of the musculoskeletal system. Pelvic and acetabulum fractures; comprehensive treatment for patients with multiple trauma; Comprehensive treatment for patients with trauma sequelae including misalignment, shortening, bone defects and infections.
